Climbing Mt. Triglav is a longstanding Slovene tradition. At 2,863 m (or 9,395 ft), Triglav towers above the other peaks of Slovenia’s Julian Alps. Not only is it the most popular mountain, the climb up to its peak is among the most pleasurable. Although many alpine enthusiasts tackle Triglav’s slopes during the high season, our expert guides know the best trails off the beaten path. You can avoid the crowds and enjoy the striking mountain backdrop and the local wildlife to the fullest. Don’t be surprised if a chamois or marmot strides into very close proximity indeed.

What To Expect
Hike to Kredarica Hut
We will start our tour by picking you up and driving to Krma Valley. Our meeting time depends on the forecast and time of the year and will be set a day or two before the tour. After a quick gear check, we will start walking in the forest, slowly starting to gain altitude before reaching a small pasture with a freshwater spring. After a short break, more hiking awaits us before reaching the mountain hut in Kredarica.
Ascend to Mt. Triglav
At the hut, we can leave some stuff we will not need for the summit push and gear up with helmets, harnesses, and via Ferrata sets. From Kredarica we will go hiking back to the car, where we arrive usually sometime in the middle of the second day.

Booked a two day guided hike advertised as "a relatively undemanding route suitable for families" only to be informed 4 days before that we would need to rent an ice axe and crampons for another 50 euros pp as well as purchasing specific mountaineering boots. Whilst debating whether to take their wholly inadequate alternative offering, they changed the date of original tour (which we had already paid >350 euro pp for). Tried multiple times to call them but not once did they pick up and over email they refused any sort of refund despite multiple grounds for requesting, including significant price increase. >700 euros down the drain on what should have been a trip of a lifetime celebrating our engagement
