The Slovene Riviera comprises five small coastal villages of Piran, Koper, Izola, Strunjan and Portoroz located in the Slovenian coastal region. Although they are not listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, perhaps they are even more charming and magical than their sisters in law.
This small coastal towns are very well known for their landscape, cultural heritage, hiking & biking trails, fishing boats bobbing in the sea, and crystal clear waters. If you like the sea then the ideal time to visit The Slovene Riviera starts from mid-May to mid-September. If you are interested in hiking and biking - it starts even earlier, from mid-March to mid-October. But above all, this region is the Heaven for wine and food lovers. The great and fresh seafood and excellent wines are sure to satisfy even the most demanding visitors so make sure you experience the culinary side of the cities too and relax with a lovely dish.

Bella gita in Slovenia e Croazia

Siamo partiti da Trieste alle ore 9 e siamo tornati alle ore 15 abbiamo visitato il bellissimo paese di Piran col castello, ancor prima ci siamo fermati ad osservare il golfo di Isola, poi una rapida puntata a Portoroz ove abbiamo avuto modo di ammirare le bellezze della costa slovena, abbiamo pranzato in Croazia presso un piccolo ma gustoso ristorante, al ritorno abbiamo ammirato le bellezze di Capodistria, tutto molto bello con una guida che parlava perfettamente italiano ed inglese.
