Day Tour To Lake Bled From Ljubljana

Although we didn't have the best weather for this excursion (cold and grey for much of the time at Bled), we had a good time. We skipped the castle and instead walked around the lake and did the short boat trip to the island. Taking it easy, this filled about 3 hours of the 4 hours that the visit lasted. Emsud, our driver, was very friendly and helpful. The 1 hour minibus ride each end was comfortable and well driven.

Emsud was an excellent driver, great communication from start to finish. A very calm & safely driven journey even on one the busiest days of the season when the world & his wife were all travelling to lake Bled. Emsud was very flexible with the arrangements, making sure that all 8 of us were happy with any changes - it was an extremely hot day so collectively it was agreed to not visit the Bled castle but go to another less spot with great views that was not so open to the sun. We had a brilliant day with plenty of time for a swim, a rest then a good walk around the lake & some lunch before meeting at the pre-arranged pick up point. The pick-up time was adjusted to take into account the delay in arriving because of the high volume of traffic so we didn't miss out at all once we had arrived at Lake Bled. Highly recommended

The guide was easy to talk to and picked up/dropped off the group on time. Short 50 minute ride in a van to/from Ljubljana.

Great way to discover Bled when you don't have much time. Emsud (our driver) was very nice and attentive to our wishes. We spent an appropriate amount of time at the castle and then enough time was left at the lake that i was able to walk around and have a swim.

Lake Bled had some awesome views from the lake to castle. The boat to the island was a huge plus. The castle was not that great but the location is fabulous.
