Great trip with an experienced local company

We did this as a private tour, but without the Triglav climb, doing Kanjavec mountain instead. It's a stunning trip, with views to Triglav and the rest of the Julian Alps and beyond. I took my children (15 and 13) and a friend with his 13-year old. We all had some hiking experience in the UK, but this was our first trip staying in mountain huts, and it felt like having someone organise the route for us, and a guide would be a good idea. It was! Kofler Sport is a family run business and we swapped many messages with Anita to get a route planned, a list of what to take, and what kind of guide we'd like (one that likes kids!!). I had initially thought a 4 day hike / 3 nights in huts would be good but she steered me towards 3 days / 2 nights and on reflection that was a good decision for us for our first time. We were picked up from our hotel in Bohinj early on the first day and driven up to a good start point in the forest below the 7 lakes. The route we took was brilliant, with stops for lunch and overnight at mountain huts, with the challenge of the Kanjavec ascent on day 2. It was great to have a guide to take the stress out of where to go, how to pace ourselves, knowing we had somewhere to stay, and to help if anything went wrong (it didn't). I won't bang on about the trek itself too much because you can read all about the 7 lakes etc elsewhere, but it's a stunning place. Our guide, Luka, was brilliant - thanks Luca :) At the end of the trek we were met by Anita who took us back to our hotel.
Hiking three days in great company

We spent three amazing days with Grega hiking Triglav and the seven lakes valley. Grega took care of all the planning while communicating with us any necessary changes due to weather/hut availability. He also was great company on the evenings and throughout the whole journey, making the experience even more special because of the friendship created.
Strong recomendation for nature & skitouring lovers. If I repeat it, I would not change a thing.

Triglav Ski Touring Traverse: 3 day trip with overnights in Komna Hut & Prehodavci Bivak. Tour - that was touring skis made for! We took some extras, like Glava nad Bajto & Kanjavec peaks and some others for additional skiing. But not Triglav. Exhausting but not extreme in any moment. Part of the group with one of the guide took some shortcuts - so everbody was happy at the end of the journey. Perfect organisation, very safety & customer oriented guides Gregor & Igor, great group of nature and skitouring lovers & best possible weather I would say.
An experience of a lifetime

Kofler Sport is a family-run adventure agency and I hiked with Anita and two other guests on the last good weekend of the 2020 season. Our Triglav lakes + Triglav peak was slightly modified from the one described here, in that the first day we hiked Blato - Prehodavci, then tacking the Hribarice pass on the second day before ascending Triglav. The tour is well planned, challenging but it is so worth staying in the mountains for three days! Anita was a kind, knowledgeable and very upbeat guide who kept us all going, even when the route got difficult. We ascended Triglav in the hands of a professional mountain guide who took good care to teach us about the area and keep us safe - it was my first time up there and I was glad for the extra support. This is a breathtaking tour and I highly recommend it to other travellers to the Alps who wish to go in an organised group! All equipment and logistics taken care of, including kit list and support for extra requests like luggage handling.
