Overview
Two exquisite glacier lakes glitter in the green valleys of the Slovenian Alps. We will visit Bled, mundane resort with an eminent medieval castle and a romantic island in the lake. Later we will drive to Lake Bohinj which lies in a tranquil and pristine valley in the Triglav National Park.

The tour was excellent. Our tour guide/driver arrived on time, was very professional and knowledgeable about the country and the sites we visited. He had a superb command of English and provided us with the history of Slovenia, as well as some folk stories and cultural info. Lakes Bled and Bohinj are stunning even with the bad weather. We were able to take a lot of pictures. The visit to the gorge helped us to understand the Slovenian landscape. Overall it was an excellent, well-scheduled tour.

Amazing day trip to see a lot of Slovenia in one day. We say many things and yet didn’t feel rushed at all. Our guide, Rocco, was very knowledgeable and knew the best spots to take gorgeous photos. The Vintgar Gorge alone is worth booking this trip.

A perfect day. Our guide Tibor was one of the best tour guides I ever had! He went out of his way to ensure we all had a great time, got to see and experience the best of all the locations we visited, and that any of our needs were met (bathroom, food, water). I learned so much about Slovenia from him and he answered all of our questions. He is passionate about his country and sharing it with others. All the places we visited were beautiful and I loved that it was all outdoors to experience the amazing nature Slovenia has. Vintgar gorge was breathtaking. The views from both lakes spectacular. The pletna and the castle entrance fees are a little overpriced for what you get in my opinion, but the views may be worth the price for some. The Bled cake is a midday delight, worth a try. 9 hours seems long, but it flew by and I didn’t want the day to end. Highly recommend this tour company and the itinerary.

What a wonderful day we had with our amazing guide Dado. He was the best guide we have had on our trip so far. Vintgar Gorge, Lake Bled, Bled castle, boat ride to the island and Lake Bohinj were all fabulous. We were so lucky with a sunny day so that we could experience the brilliant turquoise water of Lake Bled.
