Lake Bled And Bohinj With Vintgar Gorge Included

We started our rainy day going to vintar gorge . Armed with umbrellas , we donned our required helmets , and took to the one way trail beside the flowing and waterfalls of the river. It was a highlight of our 2 week trip and maybe magical because of the light rain . At the end of the gorge we encountered steep steps to bring us back to meadow level with a 20/30 min walk to meeting point . Onto Bonhji lake where the one hour was long enough for a snack and since it was raining we chose not to walk a trail which would have been close timing . Then to Lake bled . We drove up to the castle where it was a steep walk into the castle walls where beautiful Lake bled and the island gave you a “Wow” view. The castle itself was more spectacularly from the outside and had a small museum inside . Included in our fee which we paid to our guide in cash was the famous crème cake. After we had several hours to roam the lake shores from below , shop and grab a drink. I would recommend this tour as to be able to stop and see all three parks without a car or reservations might not of been possible

Beautiful sights at all places visited! Our guide Vasco was so knowledgeable - he added so much to our experience. Our favorite was Vintgar Gorge - spectacularly beautiful and a lively hike to start our day!

It was pouring with rain the whole day so we were soaked and unable to go to the Gorge and the mist was so bad we couldn't see the lakes, nor visit the island nor go for a walk. In the end everyone told the guide, who had no idea what to suggest except sit in a cafe all day plus a short visit to the castle museum that was v small, that we wanted to go back as we could do things in LJUBLJANA. Even my husband managed to suggest visiting the church which 3 of us went into. She didn't even suggest that. I do not understand why this was not cancelled by you or we were offered an alternative such as the Caves, a culinary experience, folk dancers, museums in capital etc. I EXPECT A FULL REFUND. You knew before we went that it would be impossible to carry out this tour so why did you???

The itinerary was perfect!! Guide was fun, knowledgeable, and spoke great English! He did not go on the hike with us though so a few of us got lost…tour could’ve been slightly longer to allow more time at each place but overall it was incredible! Definitely bring a backup phone battery and your walking shoes.
