Absolutely recommend the Time Machine tour! It was a lot of fun and we also learnt about the history of the castle and town.

Given the significance of this castle the self guided tour is somewhat disappointing with little to be seen other than some exhibition areas.

Whole tour was amazing and the actors did an amazing job of bringing historical figures and their stories to life. Also the guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail.

I stayed in an airbnb-Under the Castle- and that in itself was a great location, clean, right n the middle of all places-right under the funicular and opposite the Market venu. Ask for Miro,Marko. A host with the most!
