Historical Centre Food Tour: Come hungry there is a lot of food!
We chose the historical center of Piran because it has the most to offer in terms of culture, history and of course wonderful food. This is where most of historic houses and other sights are found, many of them well over 1300 years old, and the food is just delicious if you know where to go. And, because it's very central, we can show you more than one area, including the famous, Tartini square, ancient town's wall, St. George Cathedral and the famous Venetian House.
On this 5-hour guided walking food tour we eat our way through the neighborhood enjoying 4 delicious food tastings. Visit the local, colorful outdoor food market, admire old buildings, architecture and meet the wonderful families working hard to preserve local food traditions. This tour features some unique cultural and historical sites that few tourists get an opportunity to see. Join us for a day like no other.

Our concierge at the hotel recommended this tour company for our city tour and we were not disappointed. We had a great time! The tour guide Branko was very nice, knowledgeable, friendly, and gave a lot of interesting information. The stops were delicious, the weather was beautiful, and days later we were still talking about all the fun we had.
Tours like this give you a feeling of knowing a place better, like you belong there, and even though I'm not a local I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to doing the same tour next time and will definitely use this company again! I highly recommend it!
