Overview

The road will initially lead us to the Postojna cave, where we will admire one of the most popular karst caves in the world. While riding on the cave train, everyone will be fascinated by the cave's might and its karst phenomena. We will then continue our trip and reach the unique and largest cave castle in the world - the Predjama Castle, which has been dominating perched high up in the cliff for 800 years. After exploring the castle and cave, our next destination is Piran, acclaimed as one of the most beautiful spots in the Mediterranean, often referred to as the jewel of the region. In this charming seaside town, we'll marvel at narrow streets and distinctive architecture. A leisurely walk around the main square, Tartini Square, will provide us with the opportunity to appreciate Piran, enclosed by ancient town walls and overlooking the sea.

The cave is so beautiful, amazing. The Castle is nice, organised very well, Piran was raining, but the views from the top of tower are incredible.

What a terrific day and tour guide ! We throughly enjoyed this all day tour. I highly recommend it to tourists traveling to Slovenia. Nate ( Naje) our guide was so personable and kind. Extremely knowledgeable and shared so much information about the history of Slovenia and interesting facts and tips about the city. He even followed up with a text of thanks and recommendations of where to eat and shop. The three activities on the tour are just incredible. The Caves were a magnificent natural wonder, the Castle, an amazing piece of architecture and the coast town of Piran, a lovely relaxing vacation spot with so many interesting restaurants, the city wall, a treasure. Enjoyed having 5-6 people on our tour, stress free, and personal attention given Thank You Nate!

Was picked up promptly in a minibus from the place I was clearly emailed about the day before. Just myself and two couples. Nate was a friendly and informative guide the whole trip, making sure everyone was okay and explaining everything clearly. Had a good few chats about the history of Slovenia as well as music, geography and many other subjects. Piran, the castle and the caves were all fantastic and Nate made the whole day straightforward as well as sending us all food recommendations for Ljubljana that evening.

This was a really good trip - would recommend. Everything from the hotel pick-up onwards ran to time, and the schedule gives you enough time to enjoy all three sites without being rushed. The caves, castle and Piran are really worth seeing. We had looked at doing one or more of these sites ourselves but it is difficult with public transport to do even one or two of these sites in a day, let alone all three. With this tour, we were taken by minibus direct to the entrance of all three sites. Our guide Nate was friendly and knowledgeable and even gave us recommendations for how best to spend the rest of our time in Slovenia. Would highly recommend.

Great trip from start to finish. Ongoing communication leading up to the trip was perfect. The whole day was working well balanced...lots of information but with plenty of free time to wander & explore. We wanted to visit the caves & Castle...and the Piran visit would be a little bonus. But what a highlight Piran was…gorgeous spot and so glad we went. Highly recommend this trip…a real highlight of our stay 🙂
