Private 3 Hours Walking Guided Immersion Tour Through Ljubljana

5 of us did a private Food and Wine tour in Ljubljana, and had an amazing time! First, Rok is an amazing guide and SUPER knowledgeable about the history of Slovenia, the City and he easily wove the history into the food and wine. The food and wine were amazing as well! Rok lead us from place to place as we experienced the history of the city (and country) chronologically. He was super engaged, answered all of our questions (which were numerous), and didn't hesitate to give specific's as to regional dialects, foods, and historical points of interest. He ended up running over and leading us to a few more places because we were so inquisitive. I really can't express just how amazing he was as a guide. Bottom line, ASK FOR ROK!

Wonderful guide! Knows everything there is to know about Slovenia, Ljubljana + much else. Speeks five languages including excellent English. Happy to recommend.

The morning started off with a misunderstanding because the meeting point description, per TripAdvisor, didn’t match the address of the meeting point. The description was in the Slovenian language which we don’t speak, so we clicked on the address, it came up in google maps and walked to that meeting location. If we had understood the language, we would have realized we should meet at the anchor, although we didn’t have the address for it. Our guide contacted us only 30 minutes before the start of the tour but I wasn’t notified to check messages. I expected more care for a private tour. Our guide did a good job once we connected. We had wandered the beautiful city the previous day on our own, so it was interesting and informative to walk around again and have items of interest pointed out and explained. He was patient and it was good to learn about the evolution of the politics.

A lot of deep insights. Especially for people who are intrested in the history of the city. Very flexible. Flawless explanations in german. Was a pleasure!⁰

Rok made a great job touring through the center. His extensive knowledge and his passion for his belowed capital reflected through the tour. From the barouque type of architecture to the seccesion and finished with Plecnik final mark on the town. Great work, highly recommended !
