Arrival to Lake Bled

Depending on your arrival, you’ll have the entire day to yourself, so you can take in the magnificent views, stroll around and get a feel for the place. Make sure to also get some rest for all of the adventures that lay ahead.

Lakes Bled & Bohinj and Triglav National Park

After a hearty breakfast, we will experience the best that Bled has to offer. We will take a tour of the Bled Castle, and go for a relaxing ride with the traditional Pletna boat to Bled Island.

Drive over the Vršič Pass to Soča River Valley

After a good night’s sleep, we will drive to the alpine resort Kranjska Gora where we will stop and marvel at the beautiful Jasna Lake.

WWI heritage down the Soča Valley

In the morning a short bus ride will take us to the mountain town Kobarid, surrounded by the mighty peaks of the Julian Alps. The area of Kobarid is also famous for its WWI history, which you will get to know more about after a visit to the famous Kobarid museum.

From Karst to Mediterranean

Our first destination of the day will be the beautiful old town Štanjel. It is one of the oldest settlements in Karst and a paradise for all the romantics with spots like the Ferrari Garden, known as one of the most desirable wedding venues in Slovenia. When Cupid will let go of us, our bus will take us to Škocjan, where we will dive deep into the astonishing Škocjan caves, listed on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites, where we will explore the biggest underground canyon in the world.

Slovenian Coast

Make sure to put on some sunscreen and grab your sunglasses when visiting the sunny and warm Slovenian Coast. The famous old town Piran will charm you with its well-preserved ancient town walls and the narrow streets with countless stories to tell.

Postojna cave and Ljubljana

If you are brave enough, step into the fairytale world of knights at Predjama Castle, which is the largest cave castle in the world, before we depart to the capital city Ljubljana.

Departure

Unfortunately, every good thing must come to an end. On the final day of your Slovenia 8 day itinerary, you will be free to explore Ljubljana on your own.
