Three Hour Stroll Through Art And Architecture

Terrific three hours in Zale - the main cemetery. Learned a lot of history from the graves and monuments. Tjasa was a wonderful guide and I highly recommend!
Unexpected and interesting

Well, believe it or not cemeteries are very interesting and give us an insight of the living (or not so living) history of the place and also it is a very unique way to observe architecture, far away from the traffic, the noise and the passengers getting in front of your camera. You can see the resting place of famous people, thinking of their stories and their historical role and the way the religious beliefs form the art of sculpture. Also observe the class differences or the different philosophy of life (or after life), comparing rich and impressive tombs with simple ones. Tjaša has a specialty in transforming a visit to such place into a positive -and I could say colorful- experience.
Experiencing the deadly walk :)

Our tourist guide Tjaša made the tour really enjoyable and a pleasant experience. We laughed a lot, considering it was a tour on a graveyard but were also impressed by all the interesting facts she knew about the people which were buried there. Slovenia has a really cool history when told by someone who know how to tell an interesting story.
