This guided One-Day Road Cycling Tour begins in Ljubljana and takes you deep into the incredibly picturesque countryside of the capital’s immediate surroundings. One of the main advantages of cycling in Slovenia are good quality roads and light traffic, so expect to feel the freedom of the road from start to finish. The trail is very popular among locals, with sections of it running along the famous Franja Marathon. We’ll wind our way along the foothills of the Polhov Gradec Dolomites, part of the gorgeous pre-Alpine hilly region of north-western Slovenia, and ascend the highest peak Sv. Trije Kralji (Three Holy Kings) with a church of the same name. The 850 m summit offers spectacular views and doubles as our quick pit-stop. Our tour will then descend into the lowlands, past the scenic municipality of Horjul, and back to Ljubljana for a nice refreshing drink.

The road will later lead us to Mojstrana and to the 52m high Peričnik waterfall which belongs among the highest waterfalls in Slovenia. Next stop will be a Jasna Lake – an emerald-green lake surrounded by a scenic view on Julian Alps. We will continue our trip with minivan to our last and according to many tourists, the most spectacular sight in Slovenia. With extensive natural beauty, lake Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful Alpine resorts, renowned for its 17th-century Baroque church on a small fairytale island in the middle of the picturesque emerald-green lake. We are not just experts in what we do, we are also Axeperts. Throwing axes? Huh? That was our first thought too, but once you try it nothing compares to the feeling of when the axe sticks into the wood at the center of the target. The program, which we call a Show, takes 90 minutes. Up to six players can play on each target. If you come in alone or in two, prepare to meet new people. We combine teams so that we can provide a comprehensive program and the full experience of axe throwing. The program is conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors, from presentation, rules and security procedures, demonstration of the right throwing, through fun competitions in various games, and a final tournament who will determine the winner. Later, you can celebrate the results in the social area.
